About Melodie Kantner

Melodie Kantner

I am an artist from Albany, Ohio. I started drawing animals, especially horses, when I was a child. I took summer art classes at an art gallery but it was my high school art teacher that really got me obsessed with art. She taught us how to do portraits and drawing live models. I took a community watercolor class at a local university but otherwise I am pretty much self taught. I love drawing, watercolor and copper enameling but I have worked in several other mediums.
